Busola Dakolo vs Pst. Biodun Fatoyinbo

It is no news that Busola Dakolo – wife of the popular musician, Timi Dakolo has alleged that Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly raped her when she was a teenager. This news was welcome with different opinions both by Christians and non-Christians alike.

Many Pastors and ministers of God have also shared their views which seem not to be accepted by some of their members. Some Christians believe that the responses of fellow Christians to the matter can cause a dent on the image of Christianity in Nigeria and on the body of Christ at large, others feel that they are ‘just’ being religious by relating the issue with the body of Christ. So it is almost like we have the ‘religious’ and the ‘human’ opinionists among Christians.

Interestingly, this has caused some forms of division amongst some Christians. Where do you stand? What do you believe? Do you think this issue would in any way affect Christians at large? Should it even be related to the church at all, the Pastor is first a human being? How possible would it be to separate the office of the Pastor from the man (Pastor Fatoyinbo in this case)? Do you think Christians that participated in the protest are justified? Could you have participated in the protest? What do you think of Christians who say Busola Dakolo is wrong for bringing the issue to the public? If you were in Busola Dakolo’s shoe what would you have done?

Please tell us what you think in the comment box below.

Well, the mindset that her alledgation an attack to any sect should be scrapped out. Yet, the truth should prevail.

Sincerely it is shameful to know the height the believers can criticise a fellow believer in the name of a pastor. This al issue is not necessary even when we know we are not guiltless. This is not to endorse sin . But we ought to cover for one another instead of being used of the devil to pull a man down. The man of God is a man though he is anointed for others.
