LET’S TALK
There’re those who aren’t sure what Christianity really is. So, they suffer from an identity crisis, because they don’t know who they are. It’s the same reason some get sick and afflicted, always seeking medical attention. Having said that, someone may wonder, “Are you saying Christians aren’t supposed to be sick?”

Yes, Christians aren’t supposed to be sick! The Christian has eternal life, and that life is superior to sickness, decay, and death. It’s the same life that Jesus had when He walked the earth. Jesus was never sick. That same supernatural life, which is absolutely infection- and disease-proof, is what He’s given to us. Hallelujah! Now you can further understand why He said in Mark 16:17-18 NIV, “And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons…when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” Jesus said so, and He never lied to anybody!

The Christian belongs in God’s class; he’s not a mere religious person. Christianity isn’t a religion at all; it’s the active life of God in a human being. Christianity is Christ alive in you; it’s a real relationship with the real and living Christ. In Christianity, the divine life of Jesus Christ is imparted to you; it’s a real experience.

Christ made His home in you the instant you were born again. When you really get to know this, every day of your life, you’ll be so full of joy! The Apostle Peter talked about the joy that we have and exude as Christians: it’s indescribable and full of glory. Why wouldn’t it be, when you’re joined to the Lord and inseparably one with Him? How then could sickness, lack, discouragement, depression, be normal with you? Those are things that the people of the world suffer, but you’re different! Take a hold of the Word, and live by it, and your life will be excellent and full of glory.
