TO THE BIBLE
Hebrews 13:5-6 AMP C “…God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?””

LET’S TALK
Psalm 119:89 says “Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven” which means that in heaven, everything about God’s Word is firm and settled. All the angels, demons and creatures under heaven know it! However, satan would have you believe otherwise; that’s why you’ve got to enforce it for yourself! God is a Spirit, and He has given the earth to men to live in. Consequently, He doesn’t reserve the legal right to impose His will, as expressed in His Word, on anyone in the earth. It’s only those who have dared to believe and settle His Word in their hearts that’ll ensure His will is done in the earth, as it is in heaven.

So, the responsibility to see to it that the Word comes to pass here on earth is yours and not God’s. As far as God is concerned, you’re healthy, rich, powerful, full of grace, wisdom and strength; that’s what His Word says. However, you’ve got to settle this truth in your own heart! Be compelled by nothing else but what the Word says about you. When sickness, poverty, and defeat try to attack you, say, “I’m the healed and not the sick! I’m the rich and not the poor! I’m a bundle of success happening everywhere!”

That’s the way to ensure God’s Word is settled in your own life through your confessions of faith—speaking the same thing with the Lord in consent. Recall “…He Himself has said… so we may boldly say…” (Hebrews 13:5-6). Whatever He has said about you is settled in heaven, so when you speak the same thing in consent, it is settled here on earth for you. Also, remember what the Word says: “You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you…” (Job 22:28). Thus, if you want something to be established for you in the earth, then you’d better decree it! Use your mouth to settle God’s Word in your life here on earth.
