WORD SURVEILLANCE (Your Heart Contains Treasure; Secure It!)
Pastor Chris
TO THE BIBLE
Matthew 12:34-35 NASB “You brood of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak what is good? For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart. The good man brings out of his good treasure what is good; and the evil man brings out of his evil treasure what is evil.
LET’S TALK
God created the human heart with the ability of containing life or death. What you hear and believe about yourself determines what contents you’ll have in your heart. That’s why Proverbs 4:23 says, “Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life” (AMPC). You should set a security watch at the doorpost of your heart, and scrutinise everything that seeks to enter in with God’s Word.
You won’t get the Word into you by watching movies, spending endless hours on the wrong internet sites, or chatting online. You’ve got to study the Word of God; learn it, master it, and live by it. This is so important because what you feed your spirit on is what will come out of your mouth eventually and govern your life.
You can make positive changes in your life every day. So, be on point with God’s Word, such that when the devil tries to approach you with his lies of sickness, fear and lack, you can show him the Word which declares to you your divine health, security and inheritance in Christ. Tell him what’s written and he’ll flee from you in terror!
Just as a sponge soaks in water, soak in the Word daily and it will ooze out of your mouth effortlessly! God’s Word in you will propel you on to a new and higher realm of faith! Hallelujah!

Pray
Dear Father, I guard my heart with all diligence and let your Word guide me in righteousness. As it fills my heart and mind, it dominates the thoughts I think and the words I utter, causing everything around me to line up with your dream for my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
