A LIFE BEYOND NEEDS

(You’re Too Blessed To Have Any Consciousness Of Lack)

TO THE  BIBLE: 2 Peter 1:3

“…His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.”

LET’S TALK

A lot of Christians are always in need, which leads them to ask God to supply one thing or the other in prayer, be it healing for their bodies or some material blessing. If they’d only study God’s Word to find out what’s in there and truly receive it into their hearts, their lives would be totally different.

Get this straight: God never intended for you to be “needing” or asking anything of Him because He already gave you all things already (1 Corinthians 3:21-22). Being in superabundance is your status and estate in Christ, and it’s far better than merely having miracles of supply. We’re heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17).

Read 2 Corinthians 9:8 (AMPC) and see God’s desire for you. It says, “…God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].” The moment you say “Yes” to the Scripture we just read, you’ll have a new mindset and live the higher life in Christ. There’s a life beyond healing: it’s called divine health. That’s the life we have in Christ; you were born with it.

Understand who you are: as a new creature, you’re too blessed to be under! The world truly belongs to you. Refuse the beggarly life. Why should you be asking God to give you something that He’s already blessed you with? Rather than seeking for more blessings, come to the awareness and understanding that you’re the seed of Abraham, and you were blessed to bless the world: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3). Glory to God!
