HE’S YOUR PERFECT PEACE
(Never Be Perturbed By Negative News)

👤 Pastor Chris

📖 TO THE BIBLE
Ephesians 2:13-14 AMP C “…Now in Christ Jesus, you who once were [so] far away, through (by, in) the blood of Christ have been brought near. For He is [Himself] our peace (our bond of unity and harmony). He has made us both [Jew and Gentile] one [body], and has broken down (destroyed, abolished) the hostile dividing wall between us”

◀ LET’S TALK
Olga was initially hysterical when she heard her exams had been brought closer by one week. She tried to read fast, but couldn’t assimilate as her mind was now shaken with frantic thoughts about the exams. “What do I do? I haven’t been preparing as I should. I’ll pray and ask the Lord to help me,” she mused.

“Father,“ she prayed before bedtime, “I refuse to be worried about this sudden information, and I ask for a miracle for my exams, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.” The next day, there was another announcement: the exams had been moved forward by two weeks, giving Olga enough time to study. And this time, she studied with a peaceful mind, and aced her exams.

Like Olga, refuse to fear! Today, there’s so much negative news flying around that could give anyone sleepless nights. However, in the midst of everything, you still have a reason to be peaceful. Why? Because Jesus is your perfect peace! Nothing ought to shake you. The Bible says in 1 John 4:4, “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world,” which means you can live above all that you see in the world.

When the Lord told His disciples of the dreadful things yet to take place on the earth, He ended by saying, “Cheer up, I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). They were comforted by His words, and He wants you to be comforted as well, and live in the victory and overcoming power of Jesus Christ. Don’t get discouraged at the social media reports or the hearsay of the day; rather, remain at rest and in peace because the Lord— your Prince of Peace—is with you everywhere you are. He has given you the power to overcome this world and its systems. Hallelujah!

🔊 Speak
The Lord has brought me to a large place, a place of power of wealth and honour. I refuse to fret, fear and be disheartened by the things in the world, for I have overcome the world. No weapon fashioned against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against me in judgment is condemned already. Hallelujah!
