Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo Devotional March 23rd – Your Inherent Power

(Release Holy Ghost Power From Within You)

TO THE BIBLE: Acts 1:8

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

LET’S TALK

Christianity is the lifestyle of the righteous, lived from the inside out. When you receive the Holy Spirit in your life, you receive power and this power is inherent in you.

It’s the dynamic ability to cause changes. The power of God is in your spirit; you received this power into you when you received the Holy Spirit.

When Jesus said you would receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you, He meant inherent power “dunamis” (Greek).

What He actually said was, “And you shall receive “dunamis” (inherent power) after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you.” So when Jesus said, “You shall receive dunamis,” He meant that you’d receive inherent power that never runs dry, when you receive the Holy Spirit.

You don’t need to pray to God for more power. Some Christians pray, “Oh God, give me more power.” Never say that. He already gave you all the power you require. He expects you to use that power to make things happen to your advantage.

You can put this power to work anywhere, anytime, to change anything and bring forth success, health, solutions and new ideas!

2 Corinthians 4:7 (NIV) says, “…we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.” There’s power in you for a daily life of triumph, increase, and unlimited favour.
