You’re The Child Of The King

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9
The title of today’s devotion is referring to you. You’re the child of the king; and not just any king but the King of glory, the Lord God almighty!
Knowing this should put a spring in your steps, and a smile on your face. You’re not ordinary, you’re the child of the most high God, the Creator of heaven and earth. Therefore, refuse to let what anyone says or thinks about you get you down, for you’re God’s dear child and the apple of His eyes (Zechariah 2:8).
